The little ones went on their first field trip to the pumpkin patch today. Hannah had a half day of school so she also joined us on the trip! So many kids on the trip and my three stay together and play with only each other..funny! I think everyone had a great time!
We finally had a beautiful fall weekend! It was warm and not raining and we spent most of the weekend outside. We started the weekend with Hannah's soccer game, took the girls to a fall pumpkin event, visited the pumpkin patch and ended the weekend with more soccer.
We had a fun weekend filled with soccer. Hannah had her first soccer game and the girls had their first soccer tots practice and game. Hannah loves soccer and was lucky enough to get on a team with her two great friends. The girls were very excited to put on their soccer gear and play soccer like Hannah. They did great and Lexi scored a goal! She was so excited and talked about it all night!
Hannah told me to stop taking pictures so I only got two!
Today was the girls first day of preschool. Brooke and Lexi were very excited this morning and ready to go to school. Brynn was not so excited and was determined that she was not going to school today. Taking pictures this morning I was able to get a few smiles from her but for the most part she was not cooperating. When the teacher asked Brynn to unpack her backpack she responded with "no thank you I'm not staying today". At least she was polite. When I picked them up they were all smiling and the teacher said they had a great day, even Brynn! She has decided that she will go to school with her sisters!
We attended a bridal shower for Miss Liz this weekend. It was such a special day and we were so glad that we could be a part of it. The girls are so excited to be flower girls and Hannah is thrilled to be a junior bridesmaid (and have a different dress than her sisters). We all had such a nice time at the shower and had a chance to meet Liz's family and spend time with them. Liz had lots of "helpers" when it came time to open presents. She is such a special person and we are looking forward to October and the big day!
Trying to catch up on the blog this weekend. I was very behind. At the beginning of the month we went to the Eastern Shore to stay with Tom's dad at their house. We had a great visit and the girls loved experiencing some new things. The little ones went on their first boat ride, we learned how to catch crabs, we took a cruise around St. Michael's and had a great time!
We went to Myrtle Beach again this year with my family and had a great trip! We have four beach girls! They all love the beach, sand and water which makes the trip even better. This year was really different because the little ones have grown up so much. The bad part of the trip was that the little ones were up everyday at 6am and ready to go to the beach. We would be on the beach each day by 8am and they would stay all day. They loved to eat lunch at the beach and loved to snack! We had two days of cloudy weather with alittle rain...the beach was pretty empty but we still were there. The girls still had a blast picking up shells and playing in the sand. Hannah had fun with her cousins and also made new friends (which she does everywhere we go). I think we could have all stayed another week!
For me the best part was that there was no yelling or fighting. They were also so busy and when they finally came in for the day they were so tired they went right to sleep! I need a beach in my backyard!
