Nap Time = Crazy, Crazy, Crazy!

Everyone has heard my nap time stories. The girls are so sweet, well behaved (for the most part) and nice when we are out and usually at home during the days. Then 1:00pm hits..nap time and they go to their room and I shut the door and they turn into ANIMALS! When they moved from cribs to beds and I set up their new room I quickly realized that they could not have "things" in the room with them so little by little all the "things" left the room. All that is in their room now are toddler beds, the bedding and a few books. So one would think that they could not get into trouble with so little in their rooms. They still take off the sheets, mattress pad covers sometimes even have enough strength together to get the mattresses out of the beds but these are all things that I can fix easily and quickly. So the other day when I heard a "oh no!" in the monitor I knew it was not good. They took the blinds and I guess hit the window in the right spot at the right angle and broke the glass from top to bottom. I don't know who they are during nap time! Triple trouble....

Visit..Josh D

I know that I have said before what a great guy Josh Duhamel is and how wonderful he was with my girls! Well last week we got an email from him (he was close to our house filming Transformers 3) wanting to see the girls. The girls were really excited to visit with him, they were alittle timid at first but warmed up quickly. It was such a fun day! Thanks Josh! More pics soon...

 
 
 
 

 

Access Hollywood

On Monday we went to DC to do Access Hollywood. When we got there I found out that we were doing Access Hollywood Live which we do not get in Maryland...but live tv with three 2 year olds not the best idea. Plus we were on satellite to LA so the girls could not see the people interviewing us or hear them. It was interesting to say the least. They did pretty good considering all of those things. They also put some of the interview on Access Hollywood on Monday night. It was edited and was so much better. Overall it was a fun experience and all the people at NBC were so kind and nice! Thanks to my mom and Liz for coming with us and helping to keep everything under control!

October 8th was a big night for the girls..the release of the movie, Life As We Know It. We decided to have a kids red carpet party at our house to give the girls a chance to celebrate with family and friends. They had a great time and loved walking the red carpet. After the party we had around 200 people..friends, family, neighbors, nurses, doctors and therapists that have all worked with the girls who went to see the movie together. It was so much fun watching it with all of our friends. Thanks to everyone who went to see the movie and to everyone who helped with the party. Without all of you I could not have done it...so thanks Tara, Zoe, Ben, Liz, Brea, Kim, Tracey, Mom, Dad, Grandma Kate, Carol, Marcie, Sam, Sara, John, Liz C, Melinda, Keith, Joanne, Kayla & friends!

Movie Premiere Experience

Tom and I were lucky enough to go to the premiere of Life As We Know It in New York City last night. The girls all four of them stayed home with my parents, unfortunately it was just not appropriate for three two year olds. The best part of the night was seeing a lot of the people we spent so much time with in Atlanta and of course seeing the movie. It was so surreal seeing the girls on the big screen! The movie was great, it makes you laugh out loud one minute and cry the next. Hannah's little scene made the movie which made me so happy. She will get to see herself on the big screen as well! Thank goodness! After the screening of the movie we went to the after party at the Boathouse in New York and it was a blast. I get asked a lot about Josh and Katherine and how they treated the girls and our family. They are both the most genuine, sincere people who truly cared about our girls. They both spent so much time talking with us about the girls and the movie while we were at the party last night. I was amazed Josh, Katie and Greg Berlanti the director could all look at a photo of the girls now and tell them apart. If you would have told me when I was pregnant with the girls that I would be doing this two years later I would have laughed. Our Life as we know it has been such an adventure!
