Clagett Triplets: The Life and Times of Brooke Brynn Lexi

FORWARD and BACKWARD

We are officially moving just not all in the right direction. As Hannah puts it, "My babies are moving...one forward, one backward and one not at all!"

Brooke: army crawling forward very quickly and getting into everything

Lexi: crawling backward and getting very frustrating that she gets further away from what she wants

Brynn: very happy to sit still and watch everyone else move

When they all start moving its going to get interesting around here!!

They went for their RSV shots and their 8 month weights were:

Brooke: 16 pounds 9 ounces

Lexi: 15 pounds 2 ounces

Brynn: 17 pounds 2 ounces

They are getting so big. We have said goodbye to our bouncy seats, bumbo chairs and swings and it is kinda sad. They are getting so big so fast. I think I realized that things have been so crazy that there is just not a lot of time to sit and enjoy them growing and changing. I'm trying to do that more each day!! We just can't wait for SPRING!!

 

Happy Valentine's Day 

8 Months Old

The girls turned 8 months on Jan. 31st. I can't believe it! They are still growing and doing new things everyday. I feel like there have been a lot of changes at our house. They are finished with the bouncy seats which they were once so very tiny in. They all want to move but still are not crawling. Brooke moves on her belly and can roll across the room. She can get anything she wants. Brooke has also started to dance every time she hears music. Its so cute! Brynn is very into squealing loudly at everyone and everything. Lexi is still very into... mommy!!

We changed our front sitting room in our house into a playroom for the girls. It is gated on both sides to keep them in and keep Jackson out. Its nice to have a place to let them play that is safe. They still love eating solids. They tried dried apples this week and its a new favorite!!

We had such nice weather here today that we got the stroller out and went for a walk. This was the first outside walk without the monitors and it was so nice. They had such a good time. I'm so ready for warm weather so we can get out more. They go tomorrow for their RSV shots and weight checks. So I will update their weights soon.
