Things remain somewhat unchanged. During the night Erin's blood pressure dropped significantly - 68/29 and so the decision was made to take her off the new medicine. She slept some through the night as did Tom (this is JuJu) and now we are just waiting for nature to take its course. The C section will take place when her cervix changes ( she is still at 3 1/2 centimeters dilated) or when her water breaks. The delivery could be in the next hour or the next week. We are all on pins and needles waiting. Erin is resting more today which is good and her appetite is back somewhat. Tom however began feeling ill yesterday and today seems to have a full course of flu - headache, body aches, etc. He has not left the hospital but I think today he might have to see a doctor. Grandma Kate and Kevin and Hannah and I are going to the hospital this afternoon so hopefully we can talk him into it. Cousin Kevin ( who just finished his freshman year at NC State) has taken over as the nanny with taking care of Jackson thrown in too. Hannah adores him and he is wonderful with her. They are at the park right now playing on the new equipment there so that I can accomplish some things here - laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. Grandma Kate is making Erin some of her famous chicken rice soup which Erin likes so much. Jackson slept with Kevin last night so everyone slept - the night before Jackson kept us all up with his anxiety. I will update after we get to the hospital or if anything happens before that.
Julie
This waiting is so hard on all of you. I am sure the stress that Tom has been under is contributing to his illness. You all are truly blessed to be such a tight knit family; taking care of each other, that is what family is all about! I think everyone will breath a sigh of relief when the babies are finally born and Erin is feeling better. We are still praying for all of you and sending good vibes your way. Just a little while longer!!

Boy, you guys just can't catch a break these days. On top of everything, Tom gets the flu?! Man. Hopefully, he feels better soon, maybe just some sunshine and a break from the hospital is what he needs. If you guys need any help with Jackson, let us know, we can always feed him or watch him or take him for a walk or something. Let us know.

Keep up the great work Erin! You are doing the most amazing and hardest job ever and I'm so very proud of you. Soon enough all of this will be over and you'll have those three beautiful little girls in your arms and all of this will be a fading (probably not fast) memory. You're an inspiration to us all sweetie! I love you all!!! Tom - please get well. And go see doctor : )

Gosh, with all you have all been through in preparation for the triplets, surely it will seem like a relief once the babies are born. I am so sorry we no longer live near :( so we could help pitch in, though I know you're all well adapted in coming together for family in need. Hence the triplets were born into the right family! I am so glad for the Blog to keep up with ...I am sort of hooked...making sure to check in for updates. We're constantly thinking of you guys...Hang in there Erin and get well soon Tom! Go see a doctor so you can get well sooner for when those babies do arrive....they're going to need you.

Having delivered my triplets at 30 weeks just over one month ago (after 7 weeks in the hospital due to preterm labor at 23 weeks, also suffering through the Mag, and cycling on and off multiple other meds), I can vividly remember how emotional, scary, and uncertain your days are right now. Stay strong; when the time is right, you'll be triple blessed.
